On Wednesday 12th July, Year 5 and 6 students from Sholden Primary School visited our Food Technology Department to engage in a morning of baking.
Together with their teachers and two students from Year 7, the children worked in pairs to complete a design challenge to create pots of layered desserts using a sponge mixture they had made themselves.
They also enjoyed the opportunity to make their own bread, which was used to create a pizza base for the calzones they cooked for their lunch.
It was a fantastic morning that was enjoyed by everyone involved. The children from Sholden Primary left feeling extremely pleased with what they had achieved.
