Recently, a number of Year 8 students took part in a hands-on, high-energy, experiential programme designed to encourage STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) learning and enhance understanding of progression pathways. The programme uses the work the RAF does as a theme to contextualise and invigorate the students' understanding of STEM studies and opportunities worldwide.
During this time, the students were able to develop their confidence, communication skills, resourcefulness, resilience, and rigour and worked on how they can look after their mental health and wellbeing.
